Boost Gauge Fitted and another question!

thats how mine is on idle sits on -20 under load gives your boost whatever it is and engine off sits at 0 so summat wrong there dom

It doesnt matter where you T it off. Mines T'd off my DV as I dont want any connectors in the line to the FPR.

Mine idles at about -25 in vacuum. 0 when the engines off.

Dom check the line from the back of the gauge, give it a suck and block it off with your tongue and see if it drops on the gauge. If it does you know it's leaking on that olive union.

Will do, it's all hidden behind the dash now though

I'll wrap some cable ties around the t connector as well, I didn't have any earlier so left it without. There's a possibility that it's leaking there as well.

mine starts from 0 which would be why i was confused

Right, so the problem lies with the boost gauge tubing some where then? I guess I'll have to check it over tomorrow!

Dom if you want I'll send you some sealant that I use on joints like the olive one on the gauge, it's from work and we use it for vacuum bagging

I'll have a check over everything tomorrow and see if I can sort it, if not then that'd be great. I haven't done anything with the pipe coming out of the gauge, I assumed that the seal would still be ok. I think the problem is with my T connector personally, it seemed a little loose
