ngk's should be PZFR6J-11 and the gap is pre-set (to 1.1)

If thats what ecp sold you then you have other major issues

i believe the oil loss to be due to the wrong plugs that euro prats gave me, also as a result i now have a faulty coil pack  which ill be changing tomorrow

What colour was the smoke and what did the plugs look like when you whipped them out?

plugs had only been in a week and were black sooty kinda, plug 1 (far left looked a bit greasy)

smoke was a light grey bluey colour

what u recon?

Sounds like piston rings (probably on cylinder 1).

I'd see about getting a compression/leak down test done.
