Not yet dude will be 5-6 weeks yet before i go looking seriously, i got clearance for my car loan though which is nice and once i get some free time off work i will begin hunting Ireland and the UK, budger isn't huge only 9.5k euros but we will see what we can see.

this is literally my first post (Took me an hour just to figure how to do that! jez!!), I just bought a 2007 Edition 30 GTI, absolutely love it!! I'm sure I'll be on here asking more questions, but I've got one that needs answering now....

A smartass in work today decides to tell the office that my wheels are "replcia" GTI wheels...now the one's I have are like this one below (not my car...)

I just wanted to know if any of you know what colours the Edition 30 GTI from 2007 came in? My ones a sort of dark grey...I'll try get some photos up tomorrow. I only just got it and its dark already ha ha!! Just wanted to give the hater a slap but wasn't sure.

Welcome and nice car choice!
The ED30 in the UK had BBS CH alloys fitted. They are completely different to the ones in your photo!

The wheels in that pic are Monza's which are standard fit on a standard GTI, although they aren't standard on an edition 30 doesn't mean they're reps but i can't understand why someone would put Monza's on an edition? :huh:

Unless they knew someone that wanted the edition wheels and swapped before trading??

Any GTI with leather should've had red stitching imo, looks crackin mate. :cool:
