Just bought my first GTI!!!!

I've just bought a 2007 GTI, MY07 tornado red, 5 door, only 37000 miles on the clock. Lovely black leather seats with red stitching - (never seen that before - must've been a special order?). 17" alloys - I think I'm NOT gonna change to 18" (whiteworm etc) as I think they look pretty good. Or will all you other owners think I'm a raving homosexual if you see me at the lights? 
Might go for a Bluefin remap after a while...

Car looks & feels like new and was seriously tight to drive.

She has a coilpack recall and I'll prob get belt & waterpump done also. Will pick her up in a week and a half, can't wait!

I'm going gaga here - I need a drink!

Thinking of chucking my 06 plate up for sale soon (similar spec but no fancy stitching!) and trying to get a ballpark figure.

£9600. Not too bad, from a private dealer. Would you really change an 06 for an 07?

Sounds like you've bought an Edition 30 GTi, and not the standard GTi. There are around 2300 built, and have the red stitched seats and trims fella.

No-definitely not an Ed30 - (I wish it was!) Seats are full leather, with no interlagos.

 It's a UK car too,not an import. Dealer said it was a special order, but I've never seen the trim anywhere else. I'll post some pics when I get her.
