Unknown switch?
« on: 10 April 2012, 22:57 »
Today I decided to take the gear stick boot and knob of, to see what the condition of the stick is underneath and see about shortening it, but when I came to take it off I found a small button tie wrapped to the upright, with one brown and one white wire, I have not checked the other end of the cable as of yet to see where it leads to, but I was just wondering if any of you knew what it was for before I dug any deeper? and when I press it then nothing seems to happen?

Thanks lads!

Haha, would be a pretty cool idea if it was!

flux capacitor?
Now i really do wish this was true, atleast then i could jump to august then i can insure the bloody thing! haha

I'm guessing the immobiliser might be a good bet, it did come with a key fob but they disconnected the alarm because they couldn't get it started otherwise.. shall have to reconnect it and see!
