In what way do you have to trim the rub strip? Does it still look like it's meant to be there or do you have to modify it massively?

I really like the look of it and if its only 45 sheets...But I'm guessing you'd be lucky to get it in the colour you want right? :undecided:

Stolen from ED38

U.S. Front rub strip part number 1j0807719hgru

U.S. Front main bumper part number 1j0807217dgru

U.S. Front spoiler diffuser to fit the uk version part number 1j0805903ab41

U.S. Front amber indicators/corner markers for side molding part number 1jm945071 n/s 1jm945072 o/s
also the wiring loom for the indicators/corner markers 8d0971273 x2 of them

Ive just bought the side markers and my painter is cutting my rub strip to fit them in he is also wiring them up for me should have been done last week but he was to busy hopefully in this week but I will take some photos how he does it as its a far cheaper way instead of buying new bumpers etc.

Where are you looking?

I've just checked with a mate who works for VW and that part number for the rubstrip is correct.

The US bumper is deeper than ours, you have to cut a small section out & plastic weld it back together.

It won't come painted, you'll have to do that yourself.

So do you have to have the US style indicators as well? So potentially you may have 2 sets of indicators right?

Imo, if your fitting them in the bumper then you need to smooth your wings, seems a little pointless having both...
