liverpool now theres a team struggling this season, suarez imo is the only player from all the millions thats performed and gerrard is a shadow of the player he was ,doesnt seem to get forward anywhere near as much now

thats because liverpool dont have a decent holding CM at the moment. Losing Lucas has upset the balance in the team.

As for Man city being happy with second...  200m spent!!! you have to atleast win one trophy  :lipsrsealed:

City fan here to.
Arsenal deserved the win but city were very poor from the start. despite balotelli losing his head, he was the only player putting in a shift. The rest looked totally uninterested. I would rather they all picked up yellows for getting stuck in than the shocking performance they put in against arsenal.
We may have won the leg cup if not for the negative tactics and squad rotation in January. Liverpool were there for the taking
Second will have to do this year but full credit to it'd for sticking with us up to xmas

As a Chelsea fan I'm quite pleased to see City fail..... after all when we first one the prem there was a lot of bitter talk of us 'buying he league'. Therefore City's failure shows that its not as easy as some people may think

I can't wait for the season to be over tbo. Chelsea need to rebuild big time. Maybe finishing out the top 4 may make this process easier ( kidding myself ).

Hats of to Newcastle though. If Chelsea can't make the top for I'd rather see Newcastle pip Rottenham anyday of the week.

I must admit as the years go buy I admire Fergie more and more.... its one of Man U's poorest teams and yet still they will take the title. It will be a hard act to follow when he retires even if Jose takes over imo ( god forbid ).

Maybe some new City fans who have started to tag along , won't be happy with 2nd, but for me, who went to see us play at the likes of York, Lincoln, Northampton and our derby games were with Bury, Stockport and Macclesfield. Then I am very happy with 2nd.

The fact Man Utd will more than likely finish on 90 plus points, show how much they pushed themselves this season to beat us and that can only be a good sign of how far we have come.

The only reason we have not won the league is our away form and that is because each team now see us as their cup final and team everyone wants to beat. The players next year will know what to expect more and I hope we can win it.

Look at the banner below..some fans forget just how hated Fergie was at Utd in the early years, so I hope our fans keep faith in Mancini

Liverpool play Blackburn tonight at Ewood, will probably watch it...be good to see as there both on a downer and be interested to see who comes out on top.
