Calling all Stage 2 DSG owners ...

Specifically Stage 2 Bluefin folk, but anyone running with stage 2-ish software ...

Quick background on my car - ITG Maxogen intake and 3" downpipe decat, Superchips Bluefin Stage 2 map.

First issue - part throttle, low speed driving. i.e sitting in traffic and cruising along 10-30mph. The problem I've got is the car feels like it's backing off the throttle and causing a very uneven drive. Also when changing up into higher gears at low speed and easing on the throttle produces a very noticeable flat spot - as if the turbo isn't spooling or the throttle plate isn't opening.

Second issue - clutch slip. Stick it in 4th gear and sink the boot 3.5-4k and there's a very noticeable clutch slip, albeit relatively minor. It bites and goes again. When changing at full throttle the clutch bites fine, but I suspect that's because the torque has dropped off. Changing at 3/4-WOT around the 4k mark produces noticeable slip. Video as an example is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=La8QUHB9iJQ

Don't get me wrong - Superchips have been great in helping me out. Based on some VCSD logs I've sent across they've tweaked the map and it seems to have helped the surging/kangaroo'ing, but it's still there. The only thing they can't seem to offer a suggestion for is the clutch slip which is really surprising me as the general consensus is that the DSG copes very well with modified vehicles.

Does anyone else see these issues either with the Superchips Stage 2 map, or Revo/APR etc?

I would try using VCDS resetting the dsg clutches .i have the same on my Edition 30 at SC stage 2, but since resetting, it's now gone. Might be worth a go mate.
JKM told me it was my clutch slipping on an Rolling road day which I have always refused to except.
reset mine about 6 months ago, and it's totally fine since.

I tried it a couple of weeks ago mate using procedure on the Ross-Tech website. Seemed to go as described with the knocking and banging from the gearbox ( ) and took it for the "defined drive" afterwards. No such luck or difference.

I'll try giving it another stab just in case I've missed something.

Lol it is scary when you do the basic settings reset isn't it! .I thought "feck" should I have done this lol

Might be worth reloading to stock, and having chat with bluefin and get them to check their map in case there's an error with that. Your be surprised by what errors a duff map will give. Good luck
