VW Golf Mk1 Clipper Cabriolet
« on: 31 May 2005, 21:35 »
Hi .. i am selling my white clipper cabriolet Mk1, black roof, F registered (although has a private plate on at moment B14 BYD - baby d ..) we are moving abroad so have to sell  ... can anyone advise how much I would sell this for, i have had it for 4 years, well looked after good condition.  although has been off the road for about 8 months.  Just had its MOT but failed on handbrake, back box blowing, and wear on brake pipes.  Not sure whether to get this done before or sell as seen ... has anyone got any advice???
thanks!!

I'd see how much it will cost to get it through the MOT first as you will not get much for it without one to be honest.
......now officially dubless.

I'd check round autotrader and the like to see what others are going for as cabby's are difficult to price sometimes, but you might say get £1500 for it with an MOT but only £500 without so that initial £200 to get it through would be worthwhile.
