as above guts been offered audi s3 steering wheel for peanuts with the air bag what i need to no is is it a direct replacement an will my vw air bag fit on the audi steering wheel any help will be gratefull cheers gordon

i dont know for sure mate but i would of thought it would fit as its a pretty similar setup i heard of ppl fitting s line steering wheels so must do fella

are spot on i am going to pick it up tomorrow would my air bag fit on it it worth a gamble he only ones 10 quid

for that price you would triple your money twice with it on the bay mate id def get it

yes but be aware that your air bag warning light will show up i dont think it will fail but mate put audi str wheel last year and his light is on all the time.good luck buddy.

right well i been doing abit of reaserching on net and they are suppose to be the same air bag connector as i am put my orignal air bag back in not the audi one

i may be wrong but find out what u can on net but if all fails change the air bag it may be that my mate a knob and may have f**ked up somwhere lol.

with it being out of an s3 which i thought is same platform as a golf i am hoping it it wont show and air bag fault if it does i will put my old unit back in hate seeing lights on the dash that arnt supposed to be there

same i got oil light up but its got loads in and eng management light hope that aint serous lol but that sensors for ya lol they do my head in.
