remember theres other factors such as traction and handling, weight (baring in mind his has 4wd so will be able to get traction alot better).

a k04 will proberbly see you up towards the 300bhp mark, if not maybe break it. as for prices ask toby he recently got his k04 running. costs alot though, not going to post it in here as not sure if he wants everyone to know prices ect...

but k04 conversion isnt just a simple bolt on job, unless you go k04-001 which iirc will only see you around 10-15 bhp that k03s. for a k04-025 (i belive it is) you need (i could be wrong on these) throttle body, new manifould, injectors, turbo and associates oil lines and other associated parts for the turbo, usual stuff such as turbo intake pipe and possibly down pipe. but as i said i could be wrong on some of them so best checking.

Read Toby's thread. Good exhaust, K04, relentless manifold. FMIC with 2.5" pipework. Injectors MAF fuel pump ect from an S3 (I think). He made 300bhp. I wouldnt expect change from 2k for all that with mapping though.

Both TT 3.2's are 247bhp and quattro so that saps power. A stage 2 aum will match it hands down in the dry, damp conditions and the 4 wheel drive of the tt will give it an edge.

But I agree with the Chuff, sell it and buy a faster car to start with......... :lipsrsealed:

To beat his ass I'd look at fitting

T3/4 + Manifolds
Custom TIP to attach 3"MAF
Meth Injection
FMIC
Full Exhaust
Panel Filter
Upgrade everything you can suspension/handling related

The VR6 is quick, but not by todays modern snail standards, the VR6 was a brilliant idea at the time that you could produce that much power and it was a v6 that consumed so little room, the days of turbo's is now upon us, just look how ridiculously quick the new LCR and S3 are with the 2.0TFSI engine.

But to match it head on I'd be tempted to get something 1.8T with quattro

Audi TT - K04 TFSI Hybrid - 325BHP
VW Golf - k03 AGU - 200BHP

1.8T AGU..
