Best led bulbs ?
« on: 04 April 2012, 20:30 »
My car has standard lights and the lights that stay on all day are doing my head in as they look yellow. What's the best led one's to fit ? Also I want one's with the resistor built in.
Anyone got these

You can't replace the DRL's as yet cos nobody makes brighter ones, just turn them off.

1.Ignition off
2.lightswitch to off position
3.indicator lever down (left)
4.hold indicator lever back (flash)
5.turn ignition on and wait for the "bong"

They should now be off, to turn them back on repeat the above but indicate right.

Or by going into the "Lighting" section of the "Vehicle Set Up" menu in the DIS on newer cars.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Brilliant, just turned them off as they looked horrid on the whole time.
