Did a test weld 3mm plate to VW steel of the gauge we'll be welding the footplates on to:

As I know nothing about welding etc, is that not good?

Oh and there was a proper drill and chisel session on the diff from Dave's gearbox too.

Rivets all gone now.

Fits on like a glove too, just need to find these bloody bearings
