Is this for real? I mean really are the wheels going back on the car in that colour? Is it cerise or pink?

Ah bollocks, my elite photoshop skills must not be as good as I thought.

Well done for spotting the fake, 10 points and an enormous sense of well being.

oi dave post up a piccy of the back of your engine block.

think i've found an alternative driveshaft solution for you, haveing a sort out and found the last 2 equal length driveshaft kits hideing away allong with some tasty shafts.

makes both shafts the same length as the short shaft  so less torque steer and there pritty much unbrakeable iirc they were garanteed upto 500 bhp / 500 ftlbs with lsd and slicks

all the VW's have gone bar 1.

Engine in at the min mate, but will hook it out next time I'm out there and get one, don't think I have got any of the back.

Sounds very good though bud, and also update me on the progress of slippy diff talks
