Tell us about the other white Golf, Dave.

Dave, tell us about the Type 19.

Oh my lord!  Progress!

IT HAS DOORS!

It also has both hip mounts for the harnesses done on both seats.

Now, here's a tough decision.  What to do about the front brake hoses?  It's running 288mm fronts, on widetrack hubs et al.  One of the things people might not know is that the end of the hard lines is significantly different Golf3 to Golf2.  So what do we do?  Head to the scrapyard and pick up a set of hardline end brackets from a Golf3 and weld them to the inner wing on the Golf2, so it's possible to use standard lines, or leave the hardline ends where they are and have to get custom hoses made up by HEL..... giving the risk that if a flexi dies for some reason the car is off the road until a new custom hose is made up.

Tough call.  I'm leaning towards the standard hoses and welded on brackets TBH.
