Had enough, its going !!

Well after having my Golf for 6 days, its going back for a full refund..

Its just cut out on Mrs Swanny on the motorway doing 60, turns out the immobiliser is still half active.

Been to the garage where I got it from, and the garage owner isnt in, apparently uncontactable by phone but he is back in tomorrow..

The guys admitted that when he took it for the mot it cut out and wouldn't restart.
Dodgy garage, annoying thing is its cost me 150 quid insurance deposit, 115 quid tax, 40 quid MOT ( i had to pay for the mot they paid for the work ), and then 70 quid for new ht leads spark plugs and air filter ( trying to rectify the misfire)..

New hunt for a decent mk3 golf continues but feeling very down today !

surely the garage will/have to fix it now?
Who diagnosed it to be the immobilizer?

the garage may offer to fix it, but since it cut out on Mrs Swanny I honestly doubt she will want to drive it or trust it,

and if their fix will be a real fix if they have already sold it knowing it had an issue.

Its been diagnosed by my friend who is a Porsche mechanic, due to the nature of the fault it cant be anything else, and the garage removed the old immobiliser as in their words "it was playing up"

love my mk3's, bee's knees when i was a kid, so always wanted one, this is number 3 for me after previously having a 8v and a 16v, I've already been looking for my replacement and seena  very nice 16v in near Coventry :)
