yes it is a vectra in drag didnt you see it on top gear a few weeks ago but as said saab changed the look so it did not look like the vectra which gave gm the hump

They also changed the floorpan and various other bits leaving about 10% of the vectra...

Nope it uses the same platform as the Vectra (slighty longer wheelbase) but early ones used a lot more common parts but as time went on they sourced more and more outside of gm.

so that fact that most SAABs post 04 had not only vectra b but vectra c  parts 

and explains why SAAB specialist near us uses us for parts a LOT rather than the saab dealer
