suspention question

ive got a 1990 mk1 cabriolet with a snapped front spring and a garden full of mk2 parts was just wondering if my old mk2 struts would fit or do i have to fork out for more parts?
any help would b muchly apreciated

Mk2 is different, you will need mk1 springs.

Sadly nothing is interchangeable although it has been done with the help of some fabrication. Not worth it for a broken spring though obviously.

thanksfor the posts i managed to get my hands on some front coilovers as i couldnt find out what springs i had
