How would the government and fuel stations be making a killing over this, exactly?
They have just sold out all their fuel and will probably do well for the next week or so while this threat of a strike loom.
+ The increased foot fall in there shops will mean overall retail sales will be up.....
On this increase of fuel sales the government will of course take the lions share in duty, not to mention the other duties paid on petrol station goods.
If the strike does happen then maybe some losses will be incurred, but then the customer will buy more of what is available.........
Damage will occur if we get to rationing through a fuel shortage at the supply end not through supplies not getting delivered due to strike action
