smooth boot guys help

anybody out there with a smooth tailgate can help me,i'm looking at boot poppers but not sure on which is best,was looking at this one..

is that the kind of thing i'm after? did you guys fit yourselves or get auto electrician to fit or clever friend? cars going in next week and i assume it would be best to have this done prior to having the lock removed?

Best popper is . A solenoid from a petrol cap and a boot latch from a beetle . Then the solenoid will need wiring up . That's what I have in mine

yeah i found an old thread from gibbo and someone saying beetle latch,and a 3 fob key recoded? latch a straight fit? how much to recode a key?

If you can get hold of a Bora CCM you can use the boot popping function of a three button remot too  :wink:

It's doable without bora ccm that's how mine has been done anyway lol
