Never liked that smooth look Shaun, imo. wheels should look mechanical... like a Jeweler made them  they just shout easy to clean! No offense to OP

Works for me, rather than BBS which just look like ballache whenever I look at them.

They also look like they're pretending to be wire wheels, which to me means they look like they're doing an impersonation of something crap from the outset.

The sort of thing that's fitted to MGBs

I consider myself privileged to hold this view as it keeps me away from the me-too-ness of BBS wheels, which aren't particularly light either.

5-spoke FTW, although I don't like those, because IMO any wheel that suits a Golf2 needs to be a sharp, edgy design (not cross-spoke though, obviously).
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

cheers for all the comments. these were only supposed to be a temp set of wheels as i needed a set of 15's to fit my new breaks but there kinda growing on me.

i would love a set of bbs rs's but at 10x the cost of these i dont see that happening anytime soon. and also am kinda with dh as this is going to be a daily and dont fancy cleaning them every day!

and yes the black grey trim needs attention but its not at the top of the list of things to do on the car so will stay like that for a while
