Help lost mainb car key to my mk 4 TDI

HI all wondering how i Go about getting my self a new key for my golf TDI mk 4 as iv have lost mine the cars iunlocked at the moment with the window down (jsut as well for god weather ) does any one know how i go about getting my self  anew key cut and how much it will cost Thanks very much

if you havent got a spare you need to go to VW and order a new one. This will then need to be recoded to your vehicle. Dont expect it to be any less than £150

if u have a spare chipped key ive got a friend who can clone it for u and put it into an original vw key fob but im located along long way away

there's a dealer on the island (or was last time i was there) so just pop in to there with your reg/chassis number. Won't be cheap but the cheaper options can take a lot more time considering your location.
