It is easiest with an engine crane and the front of the car off. You CAN do it without a crane by using a floor jack but you can't control the engine easily and you will need to remove front cross member.
Jack front of car up & put on axle stands. Unbolt front bumper, grill and lights, lower valance & lip, slam panel & bonnet. Drain coolant, unplumb radiator & disconnect fans. Unplumb & drain PAS hoses by pump, disconnect vacuum lines, accelerator, clutch and tach cables then unplug all wiring to engine and zip tie it right out the way so it doesn't snag when you are lifting the engine.
Unbolt driveshafts from gearbox, exhaust at manifold or lower down, slacken off engine mounts and get the crane setup over the engine to take engine weight (or setup floor jack to take weight). Completely unbolt engine mounts, check nothing is still attached and lift the engine a bit at a time checking that nothing is getting caught, whilst lifting you will probably have to give the engine a wiggle to free it from the mounts. With a crane you can lift it up and over front cross member, if you are using a floor jack then you will need to remove front cross member.
When you get going it's really simple, it's like mechano. Simples
