Coil overs ????

Hi I have 1.8 gti turbo I have been offered a set of F K 4" inch lowering coil overs  ? ?£150 can anyone enlighten me do I need them ? Does my car come standard with them and is that a good price also they are for mk 3 but told they will fit my mk 4 is this true ? Any help or suggestions ?

Coilovers are not standard items on any GTI and it depends what you want as to whether you need them. They will improve handling and looks of the car with the right wheels. And Mark 4 coilovers are totally different to Mark 3 coilovers so check which ones these are.

Ok thanks buddy I'll look into that one problem I have is my car looks real low tyres almost up in rear arches already and is a fairly hard ride perhaps should check what it's running ? Just didn't want to miss a good opportunity  ?

All coilovers will give you is the ability to change the ride height to whatever you desire. Within their range that is.
