In all fairness, with my first car (Mk3 Golf 1.4 match) I put the GTI arches, skirts, vr6 splitter, leather Recaros, badges and twin exhaust system on it. Not because I wanted people to think I had a GTI, but purely because I liked the styling, n I couldn't afford to get insured on the real thing!! If anybody asked, I was quick to tell them it was only a 1.4!

What I don't get is putting a GTI badge on a non-GTI, and something that is as poxy as a 1.4 MK4
