Speed camera advice
« on: 26 March 2012, 06:21 »
Early this morn I had to turn back home as I forgot to leave the baby seat.Any way I was speeding but as I virtually stopped as the traffic lights changed and I saw a flash in the mirror.Dont know where from maybe the red light camera. There are no fixed cameras apart from traffic light ones surely this couldn't of flashed me for speeding 50 yards previous?

Sunlight reflecting off another vehicle maybe...?

Hope it wasnt the camera, or at least not for you.

It was 5.30 in morning so not the sun.Surely I cannot be flashed for speeding some 10seconds previous.when it flashed I was virtually standstill.

The flash is the taking of a picture of you committing the offence, if you were stationary I can't see how the picture could show you committing an offence.

You've already admitted to speeding, so if you have been caught, take it like a man and don't worry about it.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Personally I don't think GTD's are to far behind the GTI's performance esp with 258 torque!

They are a mile away when it comes to performance even with all that torque in the GTD.
