@Saint steve @Neil gti and @Joegti are those the Dubmiester plates? I'm not sure about sending my log book to a 3rd party but they do look good... :undecided:
I got mine from a seller here in Ireland, great guy to deal with if you want to investigate if he can ship to the UK - www.eireplates.com

We obviously have much more lax regulations over here cos I've never heard of having to send off a log book just to get a set of plate surrounds

Yes they are Dubmeister plates,
I got mine done at one of the shows, went to the stand and ordered and paid for them without logbook, and they posted them to me as the i wasnt hanging around for 2 hrs in the queue

I think they class them as show plates so get around it that way, but they are fully road legal

Only thing is I need to send my v5 form and proof of I.d which an not so keen on

Any plates supplied without docs are show plates and could land you with a £60 fine.

Theres also an interesting thread on that other mk5 forum about pressed plates. Someone had an argument with the law about them (even though they were marked and sold as legal). I like them but if it gives the law an excuse to stop me for no reason i think i may just pass on them.
