can anyone help me ?? suspected turbo on a mark 4 gt tdi 110bhp

hi im wondering if anyone could help me ? this has happend to me once before but it amended its self ! i was going down my local motorway at 120 mph and my car started going flat and slowed me down to about 60mph! i then came of the motorway and then tyed to put my foot down but there was no effort atall from the turbo and it went like my sdi caddy van!! i left the car for approxemently 5 hours and then it was alright after that but know after 2 weeks it has done it once again but this time it is smoking heaviley and you can smeel like oil burning ? and the turbo isnt coming in and is once agian like my caddy van im wondering is it my turbo thats gone or something else?? the car is a mark 4 gt tdi 110 bhp but it has been remmaped to 150 bhp ias i have been told i did go very well until this and if it is a tubo how much am i looking for it ?? many thanks michael ps sorry for the spelling

It's your car's way of telling you that you shouldn't have been doing 120mph on a public road

Get someone to plug it into VAGCOM and check for any fault codes. Sounds a bit like it was overboosting and gone into limp mode, but it shouldn't have slowed you down too much.

Also advertising excessive speed on public roads on here = bad times.

this time around i wasnt flying and breaking the highway rules and only noticed it wen i tryed to but my foot down i wernt out this morning and on start up it would grey smoke! and when i reved the engine the whole strret was grey with smoke and the smell of burning oil was termendos there is no boost in the car and it is burning oil the turbo has to be gone? does anywhere know where i can buy a turbo from or get mine reconditioned cheers yet again sorry for the spelling
