An old member of the MK4 section (Ivor) had a set on his refurbed in gunmetal I believe

11kg isn't particularly light. Probs not much difference in weight between them and yours tbh.

Most reps are around 12 or 13 kg, OZ's are a better wheel but do not suit a mk4.

Slightly off topic, but, what is the difference between split rim, 1 cast etc, the rotiforms seem to come in a variety of different ways to be made. But how do the different types affect the weight?

After ringing around I was getting quotes from £200 - £400 to refurb the 4 alloys and £50 to swap the tyres over...I am going to stick with what I have got and get some proper gucci ones when Mr bankbalance can properly afford it
