hateful, hateful things.... just horrible

i have one on my books and it makes me shudder every time I have to clean it

friend had one which they had to write off after they were quote £700 for a recon somethingorrather which would normally be a reasonable cost in another car, chuff knows what it was but i have erased it from my memory

also... they had to have their subframe replaced but that was under recall... which has now ended.

I had one for 4 years and it was a reliable and useful motor, i'd have trusted that thing to go anywhere.

Fair enough Guy, cheers. :undecided:

Ned has now added to the Zafira worries

Ps, Diesel pump

Trying to find something half decent!

Are the pumps that expensive to buy? Fitting is no worries and know someone who will program it for me if needs be.

Zafiras, Scenics, Xsara's etc are all mega cheap to insure. Scenics are total crap and not too sure I'd like a Citroen. Then you got the bigger cars like the Chrysler Voyager (although what the diesels are like I'm not sure), Vito's, etc and all £££. Toyota Previas were about 5 times the cost of a MK3 GTI 16v.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

£700.

I need a van basically and the bigger the better. Unfortunately even a Fiesta van is about £3 grand to insure when, say a Zafira, is just under £1200.

If not it will probably be a MK3 TDI estate. All the MK4 estates in budget have done a billion miles.

Where all my moneys went.

I don't understand all the diesel hate lol I love my Scirocco certainly not a slow car by any means 205bhp with a crazy amount of torque, modern diesels are the way forward
