ko3 and ko3s
« on: 23 March 2012, 13:15 »
Are casting of thew turbos same, just comp or turbine wheels different? Are turbo intake same size?. My mate now works at a place that rebuilds turbos says he'll hybrid my ko3s if get him parts and balance it. Got a k04 with cracked casting, internals are fine. He can get rebuild kit bearings, bolts etc just need tell him what fits whatand he'll do rest. Would buy a ko3 and use that with ko3 parts.

comp wheel and inlet housing are different, think the actuator may be too but that shouldn't matter with a Forge on there

Won't the k03 housing need machining out to accept the new comp wheel
