egr delete link?? or blank dimensions

surely you need to tell the ecu its not on the car anymore or the engine light will be constantly on due it not getting a reading??
Mine needs replacing but can't be bothered to go for a drive to jabba sport who fit a blank and tell the ecu its not there anymore.
Any advice would help me out thanks

you just need to put a resistor in place, 330ohm 10w i think

got a better explanation of this mate? ive fitted my egr blank plate which i made out of a bit ot tin and a drimmel but i gotta clear the engine management light bout every week or so

Isn't the code to do with improper flow and can be removed by rtech or similar but otherwise it will always come back
