If I'm honest I'm really surprised that It isn't a 2.0. Just looking at the size of the thing and also the weight you would think it is the 2.0 as first believed. My Mk3 Golf GTI 8v engine wasn't as heavy as that and it was a 2 liter

Think there is a lot more steel in that as the mk3 has an aluminium head and various other alloy brackets etc. Stick it on ebay and see what sort of interest is in it.
