Replacing Wishbone Bushes - expensive?
« on: 22 March 2012, 12:01 »
When I called my local mechanic he quoted me £150 to replace both rear bushes. I have the new polyurethane parts just need the work doing. Is this a fair price to you guys? Is it really that much of a horrible job?

Thanks

Jon

Rear beam bushes or front wishbone bushes? If it's the rear its a good price if it's the fronts its expensive.
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

They are quite a b!tch to be honest.  anything between 1-3 hours labour depending on how hard they are to get out. Is that what he said he would do it for privately?
