Liking that.  It is not too far removed from the mk6.  See they are persisting with monzas, guess VW aren't bothered by white worm issues.

Hw much do we reckon, shall start saving now, though I am tempted by the Astra VXR.

ED30 & 35 wheels are great however Monza Shadows are even better. I have had 3 VW's with Diamond cut finish on the wheels and no white worm yet. Just wash them every week and don't kerb them.

Just came across this article. In terms of literature it doesn't seem to add too much that's new but the pictures are a bit better than some of the proposals that have been floating around the web.

Wow it us the engines will be 16-22kg lighter than mk6

Wonder what the 2.0TSI version will weigh in. It was already 10kg lighter than mk5 I think.

Along with the lighter body this will make it a much better car to drive.

The worst part of the mk6 dynamically is its nose heavy feeling.
