Up the money and go TF101 or as you know it the Transformer. Not the prime though.
Also if you can get it with the keyboard dock, the dock has an extra battery. With tablet and keyboard charged I nearly get two days non stop 9-to-5 use on a full charge. Its equipped with front & back camera, bluetooth and wifi. I tether the internet off my HTC Sensation as I don't see the point for getting the mobile internet version of the Tablet.
I was in your dilemma months back, I didn't really want to pay out the money the transformer cost, but I bit the bullet and have been glad ever since, I went from a 7" tablet to this.
I can't advise enough to get the keyboard dock though, my friend didn't at work. The keyboard separately is at a hefty price compared to the bundle and my friend has regretted it since. Also with the keyboard it will replace your laptop, I have had tablets before, but never saw it as anything, just a pointless gadget between a phone and laptop but neither any good functionality to replace anything. The transformer is the only thing that can honestly replace the Laptop and does it well! It can easily do everything I use to use my laptop for if not more and superior. The tablet is brilliant, I can link my bluetooth headset and use skype on it, I have my bluetooth OBD-II scanner and torque on it. The battery life will wipe any laptop to hell and back especially with the keyboard attached (2-days use). It has flash functionality, which not every tablet has. It also has a HDMI output, so I give it to my misses and tell her to F-off and go watch iplayer in the bedroom on the tablet. The usb 3.0 cables are now finally cheap now that the TF202 is out which means you can have extra cables cheap and cheerfully (which was not the case months back). It has an office suite already installed, however I still use quickoffice over the standard stuff, even though all the stock apps are more than sufficient and good enough out the box. The processor is brilliant and I am able to run a PS1 emulator easily on it and play it on the telly with a controller linked in.
Can't fault the device, I looked at xooms, galaxy's etc.... This killed the competition easily. Like I said it replaced my 15" laptop as its able to do everything it can do, if not better especially with the battery life. Plus asus are very quick to release updates compared to all other manufacturers which has really shocked me on the android side and how it was amongst the first to get ICS. The Transformer prime (TF202) is also out, however it is an impressive kit, the new Tegra processor is a bit thirsty, which is why I prefer the TF101 for this reason.
