1.8 AUM 20vt boost issues ??? help

i have a stage 2 nearly aum 1.8 20vt spec is new ko3s as old one went bang new very large front mount cooler as big as forge one but a fraction of the price with a stealth set up !! 4bar fpr fp007 dv 4 paddle clutch it has been mapped but before i got it so that is an unkown thing !!!!

right basically in 2nd its spikeing at 1.3 bar then dropping to .5 bar then spiking back to 1.0 then finally just before gear change it drops back to .5 bar it does this in 3rd but spikes at 1.7 bar then drops off to 1bar so on and so forth it also does the same in 4th and 5th not ever going much higer than 1.7 bar im just wondering if theres anyone who can shed some light on this i wasnt that bothered as im currently making a side mount manifold for a ihi turbo pictures to follow if theres anyone who has had the same problem pls shed somelight as im getting a bit annoyed i have my own snap on solus pro and can scan but there are no reported codes ? im puzzled

did you do all the work after you got it, or was it mapped before the turbo & intercooler?

First thought is boost leak, second thought is a dodgy map (i had one that was similar, but no mods )

I had issue's with the boost surging and scanned the car with my mates snap on solus and vagcom neither found any codes turned out to be my old N75 valve, i was only hitting 17psi and holding 15psi and the boost would rise and fall, you could also hear the turbo surging

Fitted a N75 E valve a mate had lying about and all sorted, hits 22psi and hold 18psi nice and smooth no surging now.

Yeah good shout!  the N75 has been revised for the AUM (others aswel probably) so you might wanna go down the route aswel
