Just had mione done but i didn't have it done at the stealers.

I had the following done and it cost me £512 :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:

60k service
cam belt
ball joint

Not sure if that's a good price but i know i can trust the mechanic to do a good job.

My mk3 8v was £400 with VAG specialist inc, cambelt and tensioner.

Cheapest service you can get from VW is £245!!! i asked the bloke what it involved for that price and he said, oil change new plugs, filters etc, oh and a hoover!! i said thats ridiculars, all these parts cost next to nothing... bloody rip off mercants
