It will struggle in the wet for sure if putting the foot down, same as stage 2 and stage 1 does. All about controlling the right foot! Not sure how the K04 would be in the dry, not read any problems from out American friends that have fitted it. If you have lots of money you could fit an uprated LSD!

LSD is only really efficient when cornering.... yes it helps in a straight line but very minimal.

Now this is where the Golf R comes in to it own. If I had an R I would have to tune it
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox

Also, what about the fact that the front wheels are trying to put out 360+bhp, do the steering and most of the braking? Is this too much to ask from a FWD car, hence I would tend to agree the R has the most ideal base for upgrading to this sort of performance....?

Not sure what you mean by the steering and braking? TBH it probably is too much for only a FWD car but it would be good fun and you would just need to adopt a new driving style and love within your means! The k04 is still part of the small turbo family and will spin all instantly delivering a hell of a lot of torque steer I would imagine!

I have APRs K04. I love it not to much tq steer but traction up to 70 mph can be a problem when you floor it.
Im sure once REVO cracks APRs K04 code and steals that they will release their "own" version.

Have this kit on the wish list, saw Revo had posted details of a 400bhp converted car on FB

Othe subject of traction, it's going to be lively but as mentioned the accelerator isn't an on/off switch.

Had a 285 bhp  supercharged Civic Type-R which was ferocious and if you wanted you could drive all over the place spinning the wheels, by comparison you could use the power to make amazingly quick progress and surprise more powerful vehicles.
