problems with golf (opinions really)

Hey guys, mr cluless again.

i bought my golf 1.4 match, mot failure yada yada
all in spent about 300 on it

Car, £150
grill, £14
splitter, free
Gti front lights, £20, one of the adjusters is gone so need another one
Hella smoked rears, £40
Starter motor, £56
bulbs all round, £8
new wipers, £8
New disks and calipers at front £40

I still need a water pump pully i think it is as there is no slack in it, and im pretty sure its the cause of my wailing noise.
considering changing the waterpump, and belts whilst i am changing the pully anyways.
could need new shocks, so it'll be 2 at the back and possilbly 2 at the rear
non colourcoded bumps, so will need to get a set of those

That's really up to you, If you got it all sorted and it drove without fault for a year then it could pay for itself

Sounds like you haven't any heart for it at the moment which is natural. I'm rebuilding a head on my vr6 (got a spare) and progress as kinda stopped because it failed MOT.. only on little things but a general inconvenience non the less

You can pick up shocks second hand cheaply enough. If not £160 will get some budget JOM coilovers anyway!
