It is a gutless sod isn't it....I really want/need more power...came so close to buying a 1.8 mystic blue SE the other day but couldn't do it!
I don't really know what i'm doing tbh, I've got all kinds of ideas ranging from just putting an AEE in it to a TDI engine to something involving bike carbs
but don't know if i'd be able to live with bike carbs as a daily, TDI sounds like hassle and an AEE surely can't be worth it. Had a go in my friend's 1.4 206 the other day and that felt significantly more powerful despite only having 15 extra bhp. But then it weighs less aswell! But it made me want more power even more! I finish uni for good this week so I can think more about it then.
Anyway, on with the update, it's quite a big one in my eyes.
So I got an engine cover a few weeks back, finally fitted that:

Was quite tricky to capture the shine. It's not perfect but looks much more pleasant now. Also made a start on the lips of my RX2's but they aren't done yet so no pics yet

Nice cracked windscreen fannying about with central mirror (woops) so autoglass replaced, 75 quid.
And now, la piéce de résistance of this update....cracked out the DSLR for these.

I have the doorcards aswell, but I can't get them in until I get my electric windows working as the leather cards don't have holes in for the manual winders :embarassed:
I will get there, one day!
