Glad it made it all there ok,

Yes that is the connection for the cental locking in the door, does your car have cental locking?

Thought I'd have a run through of installing electric windows and mirrors last night. Foolishly started at around 4 o clock in the evening, thinking it wouldn't take me too long. Got all the passenger door window and mirror plugged in, but then realised I had no idea what I was doing with the dash loom, and it had gotten dark, so had to swap it all back over again coz I couldn't close the window
Anyway, had a more in-depth look at the wiring and decided I still don't know what I'm doing in daylight!
Dash loom:

Thought I'd make it look a little less intimidating:

Figured out the way it's meant to lie in the car, I think. The longer bit is meant to run to the boot to the central locking pump I believe, which means it goes down the passenger's side? (I don't have central locking so no pump to run it too you see!)

Got the passsenger's door connectors in all ok. However I can't figure out what I'm doing at the fuse box. Is this everything that goes into the fuse box area? If so, can anyone tell me where

Also, managed to crack the glass on my new electric mirrors swapping the fecking caps over  Anyone know the fool proof way of getting the things out without them cracking?

Thanks.

Right.

Those coloured connections go ABOVE the fuse box.

Up inside the drivers dash there is a connection place and it's easilly marked out as each connector goes to the same colour.

Look at the fuse box then go UP.

That other plug goes above the pedals somewhere.

It's easy if you trace it back from the drivers door pillar. The red connector goes in the fuse box and the fuse clips to the actual fuse box.

Where all my moneys went.

What he said....

Also there is a brown earth wire that goes on the brown socket on the A pillar.

Wicked guys cheers. So nothing actually goes into the fuse box then

Erm, is it possible to get to these connectors and thread the loom without taking the dash out? I've only been getting the lower half off.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow, hopefully make a bit of progress.

Thanks again!
