Pinking - which knock sensor to get?
« on: 20 March 2012, 19:22 »
Adjusted my timing today following rj's guide on here and now my cars pinking under load, the timing was a bit out. Would it be a knock sensor problem even though it was ok before?

Well, I phoned vw heritage yesterday to confirm the correct sensor and got it ordered.
Just fitted it after work so I'll test it tomorrow.
I've also replaced the water flange on the front of the head as it seemed to be leaking. Gear linkage repair kit to do tomorrow morning if I have time before work
