If you want that you should be able to get an ML1670 for less than £50. Our cost from Samsung was down to £28 at one point. Pretty low yield toners though - new toner will be more expensive than the machine.

Anyway I digress from Andres' subject.

Hello!!! (I used to be a printer specialist in IT distribution)

Anything cheap is going to be costly on cartridges and not get you many yields.

If i was you I'd be looking at something like the Epson SX435W or 445W. You "should" be able to utilise Airprint too on them by getting the Epson APP if you're smart phoned up. All individual Inks so fairly costly to replace, BUT really good photo quality.

Specs here - http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-SX445W

Epson also do a quarterly promo called breadth which is where they drop the price on a select few products for a quarter. These are both on there - believe normal cost of the SX445W is pushing £100, but should be about £60 at the moment

This printer also benefits from their flights promo - you buy a machine and claim a free return flight within europe (you pay the taxes) Buy a set of inks for it and get another free return flight for the missus - details here http://www.epson.co.uk/Explore-Epson/1228076002936

J315W is ok - but it is the entry level machine by brother  so won't be as specced as the Epson.

Hope this helps!

Cheers Archie. That SX445w looks really good, great price and the fact it has separate cartridges is awesome. Cheers for replies guys, will get ordering in the next few days

Awesome. Ordered it from Amazon for £55 including delivery. Thanks for advice guys, always good to have people in the know helping you choose something, otherwise I'd have ended up buying a stinker!

Cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the cartridges!

in a way yes, but you only get starter inks each time which don't last as long as a normal full set - normally starter inks are half size.

In this case a set of inks will be about half the price of the printer and last twice as long as the starter inks.

Lexmark are awful for it though!

Don;t forget to claim your free flights Khare!
