I filled up with £76.06 of diesel today, that will get me about 550 miles. Absolutely horrendous. I could just fill up once a month and visit my parents & GF once a month, but life just ISN'T that easy. FOL - f**k OUR lives.

I put that in at least once a week just to get to work and back. Any pleasure driving I got to fill up again

A couple garages by me are now charging 151.9p for diesel  But I go 4 miles to the M4 motorway services and pay 146.9p figure that one
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

I fill up once every 10 days or so. All commuting.

Just found a house within 500 yards of my work. Think I will snap it up of the fuel price keeps rising

Walking/cycling/other means of transport seems to be the way to go. TBH I am very lucky that I can walk to work, and only commute home to see my family. I think 'living' at work and then commuting to see family is probably cheaper than living at home and commuting to work.

Within 2 years time I reckon it will £2 for a litre of diesel, then what are people going to do when it costs ~£100 to fill up just to drive 400-500miles? Are we all just going to stop having social lives and tell work to pay us more so we can actually get to work? The world is going to collapse very soon.

I live in the sticks and have a 30 mile round trip to work every day...put about £40 a week in the tank and that includes a bit of running around although we've got a little 1.4 206 for longer trips so i'm not struggling just yet, its the tax and insurance that i get annoyed about and having just insured my daughter for the first time , this makes petrol look like good vfm..
