I do agree that protest doesn't need to result in violence.
However, either through frustration or opportunism someone spoils it for everyone else. An already twitchy government utilise these happenings to further their own ends.
Civil Liberties are clamped down upon as result. The rights of the individual are circumvented whilst the profits of shareholders are paramount. I have voted in every election since I was of age and feel no progress is being made.
It's a feeling of helplessness, of seeing the problem but being unable to do anything about it. So frustrating knowing other people feel the same yet nothing else comes of it. Divided and conquered...
Can I argue that this life of drudgery I am being forced into by the government and big business is a form of torture and challenge them under the human rights act..?! It's life, but not living. Why should that only be the preserve of the rich?
