cleaning micro fiber cloths

washing machine? any detergant?

with bath towles i dont add conditioner as it dont soak the water up.

same princible?

Small amount of normal machine liquid on a cool wash and NO conditioner as you say same principle  :smiley:

i just used to soak mine in cold water mate, that used to do the job.

I used megs plush cloth for taking off the polish and wax as they produce less static.

just chuck them in the machine ( without softner) on there own of course!!

the ones i buy now are only 99p for 3 so now i just chuck them away after a dirty day

Just to emphasise.. Liquid detergent and not powdered detergent and no conditioner.

Guy, why do you emphasise detergent has to be liquid? I machine wash mine with normal detergent [Daz, Persil etc] and never been a problem. [No conditioner as you say though]

Hi Rick

Powders can leave undissolved crystals in the microfibres after washing which could contribute to marring your paintwork upon re-use... liquid detergents avoid this problem.

I see what you mean Guy, but I do mine on the extra rinse cycle to make sure no powder is left. Having said that, I may still take your advice and start using liquid.
