I had a mobile map from them all was good and very happy although said they would send me an invoice and proof of map in post never got it tried calling mobile bloke no joy and did get hold of them on here but just did not really care so although it was a good map let down by the service aftet

2000 agu 1.8t lowered 55mm,cream mirrors and wheels,stage 1 map, forge 007p,

its more of looking for weak pipes, so its well worth giving your car a good going over your self, comon one is under the inlet manifold, the oil breather, its prone to splits  :cool:

yeah nikis loved mapping it! dont wana give it back  :grin: i pick it up saterday :cool: cant wait  :wink:
with this oil breather split will the car lose power or boost??

give nick a ring and im sure he will get it sorted for you mate the guy is so busy all the time its quite easy to forget i won a set of super pro bushes on here by a competition they done he could of fobbed me off but i got them and true to his word keep ringing as he does tend to forget due to the amount of hours he puts in im not defending the guy by any means just know hes a top bloke and doesnt like letting anyone down  :smiley:

cheers guys. some brilliant advice and comments. i have to admit i was expecting lots of positive comments.

i will have a look at the pipes and see if any need replacing before I get it booked in.

if there are any splits in pipes (or other issues), is it just a generic mapping that goes on? if so, can it be done regardless and any issues sorted after without having to go back to sort the map - or does it not work like that?

i feel the same, remap was top notch, pre map check was good, thought they were actually a little rude and didnt really explain anything. felt like they were trying to get rid of me :undecided:

I have had 3 remaps off r-tech and every one been great . And there service is second to NONE !
Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Mk4 golf 1.8t AUM Hybrid K03s. Custom Mapped by R-tech to 260bhp. CR hybrid turbo Audi TT injectors / fuel pump, Forge tip,THS FMIC,Carbonio CAI, Full milltek turbo back, N249 bypass, Fully poly bushed, Weitec coils. Genuine R32 front bumper and Genuine R-line rear, Genuine Porsche twists, Anniversary black interior.

i'm not disputing the remap, but the service I received was not that great. Doesn't mean I wont go back though
