well a good "spirited" run up the A34 saw me overtake Danny in the Golf Plus 

The lack of donkeys d1ck has made it a tad, well a LOT noisier at Pace 

but its soooooooooooooooooooooooo much nicer to drive now the rev issue is sorted

Haaa at least the guys dealt with it, any bolts sheared off? 

The bloody cheek of it!

Only the lightest smattering of swearing had to be applied to get the job done.

The donkey's dick had to be removed around the back. 

 
Credit due if it was just one nut, pain only starts when the threads have completely rusted off

well thought we better road test it before heading to the ferry 

all is Great, Auto choke functions correctly and revs drop down to idle as soon as you clutch.

Much better than the 1700 it was at 

oh and its FILTHY, bloody filthy island roads 

clean it nicely now.. two bucket method and all that...

ah, the famous holiday cottages

That's opposite .:WR - we we're allowed to use that barn, it's in too good a condition for us.

The holiday cottages are a bit further away and *slightly* more luxurious.

well i had a little " rattle " since my return from the IoW,

so i decided to check out under the bonnet

anyone missing a 1/4 drive extension

then noticed I had a headlight out, so thought so changing the bulb, i just changed the headlight



but the hole had got a bit bigger and inside was soaked



then set about the creaking rear parcel shelf supports



bit of sticky backed window seal and the creaking has vanished. .
