How much does it cost to courier an engine?

Just out of interest as i'm after a 1.0 or 1.3 complete engine for the polo.

I think when it gets over 25kg it has to go on a pallet anyway then its almost a set price.

A guy on another forum reckons a minimum of 100 quid.
That's from York to Camberley. Sounds a bit steep to me.
